Based off an old 1970's boardgame.
Up to eight starting positions. The actual game had max of 6 players with independent roving hordes filling in any gaps.

Wizard's Quest, I think!
ReplyDeleteMap looks good, perhaps better, different style than the first one which looked more like the one in the FB 1.2 rules on page 55. I think the Wizard Quest map was originally produced by Avalon Hill, the one I have seen looked a little different for example the region on the left was called Golden Dunes not Red Dunes and each region had a name. Both the Wizard Quest map and first map will work for up to 9 players, as both appear to have about 36 regions. The Wizard Quest map my be easier to use for the purposes of communicating locations, ie. move from Red Dunes region #3 to Great Plains region #2.
ReplyDeleteNo bonus points for the map identification, but thank you for the comments! Each map style has its advantages. Yes I renamed some areas and will rename all area should this be the map that gets used. I also moved a castle and added more land and converted one area to the volcano. Also added the whirlpool as a hazard to movement and one more portal. Each region has three areas occupied by something leaving three to be explored.
