Lemuria
Pulp Alley campaign 2019, rule modifications
-
No mounts may be bought as perks. They may be bought after the first game. Leagues may buy mounts through the usual method when expending points at the start of a scenario. Mounts will also appear through reward cards.
-
No ranged weapon kits may be purchased, with the exception of primitive.
-
Heavy melee weapon may be selected, but not for free, it costs a slot.
-
All other melee weapon kits may be selected as a kit for free as per the rules in the league book page 34.
-
You cannot run and shoot.
-
You cannot shoot more than once per turn regardless of what you are using to shoot with. This means 1 shot in your activation or 1 shot as a response to being shot at or in a peril test.
-
1 shot exception would be TWO GUN ability which would grant 2 shots in your activation, or 2 shots in reaction, or one each, or in any other combination (peril test, reaction, activation)
-
Bursts take a full action to place, so you cannot move and place a burst
-
Scenarios are all designed for 1-4 players, once played a
scenario might not get played again (it is possible but do not count
on it) From my viewpoint I do not have to set up any duplicate
tables. At the end of the gaming day we will draw to see what
scenario we will play next session.
-
All perils will be treated as if extreme, and random cards
draws will be used to determine the peril not cards from your hand
of cards.
-
Difficult terrain that counts as perilous if you try to
run through them.
-
Obscuring if your target is in or on the other side of an
obscuring area the they are considered to be in cover even if they
are not in contact with the area.
-
Plot points will be considered to be small targets &
will impact on how they can be engaged. For example, if you are in
contact with a plot point then an enemy cannot move into contact
with the plot point without engaging you.
