Never wanted to be a member of a club that would have me as a member! This is an informal alliance of gamers with no fixed address to play their games.
One blog to rule them all, One blog to find them,
One blog to bring them all, and on the internet
bind them.

Reworked the game a bit
So, I have moved the game over to the smaller table, reworked the town, and the wall, put in a new moat, and figured out what figures to use. The stage is set!

Pulp Alley Lemuria campaign
Hi all
Some pictures of some of the scenery that I am working on for our campaign.
First up the arena for the opening scenario Arena of Death!
It is a repainted play mobile toy. Two coats of paint (including texture paint) have transformed it from looking like a cheap toy to looking like a slightly more expensive toy.
After that are some WIP pictures of some scenery for one of the scenarios.

Pulp Alley Lemuria campaign 2019
Lemuria
Pulp Alley campaign 2019, rule modifications
-
No mounts may be bought as perks. They may be bought after the first game. Leagues may buy mounts through the usual method when expending points at the start of a scenario. Mounts will also appear through reward cards.
-
No ranged weapon kits may be purchased, with the exception of primitive.
-
Heavy melee weapon may be selected, but not for free, it costs a slot.
-
All other melee weapon kits may be selected as a kit for free as per the rules in the league book page 34.
-
You cannot run and shoot.
-
You cannot shoot more than once per turn regardless of what you are using to shoot with. This means 1 shot in your activation or 1 shot as a response to being shot at or in a peril test.
-
1 shot exception would be TWO GUN ability which would grant 2 shots in your activation, or 2 shots in reaction, or one each, or in any other combination (peril test, reaction, activation)
-
Bursts take a full action to place, so you cannot move and place a burst
-
Scenarios are all designed for 1-4 players, once played a
scenario might not get played again (it is possible but do not count
on it) From my viewpoint I do not have to set up any duplicate
tables. At the end of the gaming day we will draw to see what
scenario we will play next session.
-
All perils will be treated as if extreme, and random cards
draws will be used to determine the peril not cards from your hand
of cards.
-
Difficult terrain that counts as perilous if you try to
run through them.
-
Obscuring if your target is in or on the other side of an
obscuring area the they are considered to be in cover even if they
are not in contact with the area.
-
Plot points will be considered to be small targets &
will impact on how they can be engaged. For example, if you are in
contact with a plot point then an enemy cannot move into contact
with the plot point without engaging you.
